We are trying to configure our system for FPGA programming . But something is a little strange. When I open MAX from HOST computer, my PXI is not listed under remote systems. Instead under remote system, what appears is NI-GenericDesktopPC-2FXXXX from where we can see our target device NI PXI-7833R under Devices and interfaces. The PXI System appears as unidentified. We are using PXI system with NI PXI 7833R inserted in one of the slots as our target. Is this normal? See the attachement for more details. Any suggestions?
