我将6581和5782的两个模块的的程序，放在一个项目，在这一个项目中同时运行两个程序，6581产生两个脉冲是10MHZ 12.5ns的脉宽，用5782产生两个脉冲是10MHZ 10ns的脉宽，我是想让这四个脉冲完全同步，为了实现这个目的，我又利用6581产生了一个10MHZ 50ns的脉冲，提供给5782的CLOCK IN，利用5783的PLL锁相环进行锁定，虽然每次运行可以把5782产生的脉冲锁住，但是每次锁住的延迟不一样。 我是想让每次锁住的延迟都不改变，或者说让他们完全同步。

Win7 on NI PXIe-8821 very long time to shutdown
I have Win7sp1 running on an NI PXIe-8821. When I ask the OS to shutdown, it takes several minutes. It shows the Shutdown screen for several minutes with the spinner. This appears to have started happening recently, within the past few months. I suspect an issue with the USB ports, but have not way of troubleshooting. When I plug a USB device into the connected hub, the OS does not react, e.g., I do not see the expected serial USB device appear in device manager, or plugging in a keyboard or mouse is not detected. Have changed hubs and have changed operating systems (to Win10). Any ideas of what I can look at or update or ?? would be helpful.

speeding up PXIe-4138 measurements
I have modified an example VI to source voltage and continuously measure current from my PXIe-4138. However, it could only take about 4 measurements per second, which is not at the speed that I need. how can I make it measure faster. there are 2 channels because a I am sourcing another voltage simultaneously that is supposed to affect the current measurements.

Python PXI 1042Q
Hi,
I have always worked with DAQ cards and Python scripts to control them.
Now, we switched to a PXI-1042Q that has many slots with DAQs. It seems I am not able to access them in any way.
I tried nindaqmx and nimi libraries. I think I am doing something wrong, or that I am not using the correct libraries.
Does anyone know how to do this or can anyone point me in the right direction (what libraries to use, how to connect with the PXI)?

6683H PTP 1588 Delay_Resp
Hi,
Navigating through the forums lead me to think that NI does not provide any valuable help regarding PTP 1588.
That's a problem since PTP is a very nice protocol.
Anyway, I give it a try : it seems that the PXI-6683H does not respond to Delay_req, with a Delay_resp.
Does any NI engineer can confirm that ?
If so....why?

PXI-4110 positive current on channel 2
Hi.
I use the channel 2 of PXI-4110. In datasheet mentioned that ch2 use quadrant III. But when I insert resistor only in ch2, the soft panel shows me the positive value of current on that channel but voltage was = -15V. I think that current must have negative value. How it is possible? Can anyone explain? Thanks.

programmatically set MAX configuration
Hey,
We've (unfortunately) chosen to use PXIe-8301 with Thunderbolt to communicate with our system. I've used PXI for more than a decade without any major issues But this Thunderbolt solution feels very immature.
Once in a while, the system decides to change the names/aliases of the instruments in the system. See picture below.
So, if I use PXI1Slot2 as the handle, it is no longer found.
Is there a way to programmatically set these names from LabVIEW. So that the end user isn't facing strange issues and needing to teach their operators how to delete and rename devices in MAX?
Right now, using Thunderbolt feels like a VERY bad choice. 😞

Can I Use SHC68-C68-D4 Digital Cable Instead Of SH68M-68M EPM Multifunction Cable?
My team and I are working on an automated test station and we need to connect our PXIe-6345 board to a RTI of our SLSC module. We expect to use only analog inputs of our 6345 board, but the entire I/O is being connected to our SLSC in case of a need for future adjustments. Currently we don't have the suggested SH68M-68M EPM cable and we're a little pressed for time so we were wondering if there is any chance that our SHC68-C68-D4 cable could do the trick? Connectors are the same (VHDCI), that much is simple, but we're not sure about the internal structure and damaging the equipment is something we don't want to risk. We just need a way to pass the signals from one device to another and any regular bunch of wires wrapped in a cable would do.

FlexRIO PXIe 7971R & Adapter 5783 - Changing the Input Voltage Range
Hi
I'm using LabVIEW FPGA with a FlexRIO PXIe 7971R and an adapter 5783 (4 outputs HDBNC (200 MHz) - 4 inputs HDBNC (100MHz)). I want to know if it is possible to change the range of the inputs (only one input or every input, i don't care).
The specifications tell me the range of inputs is -1V to 1V. For my application (acoustic monitoring), I want to reduce the noise, to increase the SNR. A range of -/+0.1 V or -/+ 0.2 V would be nice.
Is it feasible? In which way on LabVIEW FPGA?

PXIe-4138 not pulsing properly
I have developed this VI from an example with the aim to pulse voltage through 1 SMU while supplying DC voltage and continuously measure through another SMU. The pulsing SMU is not showing a clear pulse, however, it is alternating between -ve and +ve values (see photo). what could be the issue?

PXIe-8840 controller doesn't boot
We have a PXIe-1078 chassis that has been working with a PXIe-8840 controller until recently. Now it does not want to boot (nothing show up on the display). There is no signal from the controller to the monitor. The "PWR OK/ FAUL" led is solid green. If I put in another PXIe-8840 in the PXIe-1078, it works fine. Any ideas as to what may have gone wrong with the PXIe-8840?

How can I configure the AGC of a PXIe5160?
Hi, I'm currently working with a PXIe5160 to capture a signal, however, the analog signal at the input of the digitizer might change in amplitude and for that reason, we want to implement an AGC to maintain a good signal level.
I was trying to check some information related to it but I can't find anything related to it. I was wondering if anyone has any experience or has information related to the configuration of the AGC in a PXIe5160.
Any help will be appreicated.

PXI-1002 PXI Platform Services
Hello,
Can anyone point me to where to download the last PXI platform services drivers that supports PXI-1002. From the 3.2.2 onwards release notes it notes it no longer supports this hardware (see below).
On the NI website the download page only goes back to 15.1.
Does anyone know if later drivers work (but aren't supported) and if so has anyone used with Windows 10?

PCI-7831R software support not installed
I moved my project from a computer at school to my computer at home and no longer have access to the original computer. For some reason, I am getting this "software support for this FPGA target is not installed" error, even though I went through the same installation process on my home computer that I did on the school computer. What drivers do I need to install?

Adapting LabVIEW project from the PCI-7831R to new hardware (specifically the MyRIO)
One of the projects I am working requires me to adapt a LabVIEW project that was originally written to be used with the PCI-7831R so that it is able to run on the NI MyRIO. I have only recently started working with FPGAs and LabVIEW, and was wondering if it's possible to run code on a MyRIO that was originally written for the PCI-7831R without having to completely re-make the project.

Missing devices in DAQmx dropdown
I am trying to use the external SMB trigger on my PXI controller as illustrated in:

But I don't see my controller listed in the dropdown menu for available devices.
I checked the support for both my chassis as well as the controller with PXI Platform Services version and they show as compatible. It shows up fine in NI Max so I don't know what the problem is.
Is there a way to "refresh" the list of devices that LabView thinks are available?

PXI chassis, Controller and PXI modules not detecting in NI MAX
PC configuration:
Chassis: NI PXIe-1071
Controller: NI PXIe-8821
In NI Max, PXI chassis and Controller are not showing under Devices and Interfaces. I have reinstalled OS, installed Peripheral drivers, NI device drivers and NI PXI system configuration. Still it is not detecting. suggest your ideas.
