HI, I i have inserted MIL-STD-1553 PCI card in slot and installed drivers for LX1553-5 .BTIdriver librarys given with installation drivers are labview 8.6 and labview 2010.But labview version in my pc is labview 2014.I have selected LABVIEW 2010 driver library zip file and included in user.lib in national instruments.
but labview vis not updating in vi library.they are showing blank vis with question mark as shown below.please tell the solution.

I encountered an issue for PXIe 4081. My PXI system is connected with a PC using PXIe8360 and PCIe8361.
1. PXIe4081 can be found in the MAX, can reset but cannot self-test.
2. When open the test panel in MAX, the error -1074102163 show up but this error code is not description.
Is anyone has the same issue, is it possible the issue of the cable between PXIe8360 and PCIe8361?

I have a PXIe-1078 chassis with PXIe-8840 embedded controller (Win 7 OS) and PXIe-4137 SMU. I need to acquire data for a window of time (trivial) while I trigger an external lamp supply (5V pulse trigger to a Xenon Flash Lamp power supply)
I configured the SMU to trigger on Software measure trigger (niDCPower configure software edge measure trigger.vi) and to route the Measure Trigger to the SMB trigger line of the 8840 (niDCPower Export Signal.vi) so I can trigger the flash lamp. This approach was recommended by an NI employee when I was configuring the chassis, so I currently don't have any other modules I could use (digital I/O for example).
While my program is running, the SMB trigger behaves as expected. I get a 250ns, 5V pulse out of the SMB trigger connection.
My problem is that when my VI is not running (say after turning on the chassis or closing the program) I get a DC 5V signal at the SMB connection. This results in my flash lamp triggering as fast as it is able (capacitors take a few seconds to charge) which is a huge safety concern for operators. Is there a way I can have the PXIe-8840 SMB trigger default to 0V instead of 5V or route to one of the PXI back-plane trigger lines?

I hope I am in the good section for this kind of question : I'm new to the NI environment/hardware.
I'm currently using a NI PXI-1033 with 5 cards installed : 1x NI PXI 6221, 2x NI PXI 4461 and 2x PXI 4462.
On one of the NI PXI 4461, I'm using both inputs and outputs. The inputs are two microphones and the outputs are connected to an amplifier to drive two independant speakers. I'm using the Matlab interface to use the PXI cards.
Now, my problem is when I'm trying to do some input and output simultaneously via Matlab, I get the error :

Both the input and output are defined in the Matlab script and working perfectly when ran one at the time. But when I'm trying to run both at the same time, I get the error. The program is the following :

I want to feed my external IRIG source to my 6683H card and the Ballard cards. How can I accomplish this without losing any connections to my bus channels?

I'm setting up a system in which I would like to use a marker sent using the PFI0 output of an arbitrary waveform generator (5441) to trigger an external equipment (Tektronix PSPL10070A pulse generator), which requires a +-2V signal. Is this something I can do using the PFI0 output? I haven't been able to figure out how to change the output voltage of this port.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I am trying to use a PXIe-4080 to measure thermocouple level signals to validate a sensing circuit (sensor). I have a thermocouple simulator to provide the rough voltage levels, and then I want to compare the values measured by the PXIe-4080 and my sensor. When I have my sensor hooked up to the simulator it reads the correct value (within a few uV) and has low noise. When I connect the negative probe of the PXIe-4080 to the negative terminal of the sensor the reading shifts by ~10uV and a lot of noise shows up (~+/- 20uV). This does not go away when I connect the positive probe. This does not seem normal, since the PXIe-4080 probes should be isolated and measuring differentially.
I don't believe this has anything to do with my specific sensor because if I use an Agilent 34401A DMM I do not see this effect.
I am using the Soft Front Panel, I have tried 10MOhm and 10GOhm input impedance to no avail.
Any ideas of what to check or what could be wrong?

I have a problem, i am making measurements of current, voltage and capacitance, but when i do the current measurement, the card NI PXI 4072 is damage, I have already exchange two identicals cards and the results is the same, and always start faulting in the current measurment.
Some of the cards only no longer measure current, however if the resistance, capacitance and voltage measurements work.
When checking NI MAX, the reset and self calibration work in DMM, but the self test mak the error:
The self test failed.
Status Code:-200020
Self-test of the device has failed
Check the wiring and electrical installation and everything looks good.

I have two NI PXIe-5105 scope cards and one NI PXIe-5160 scope cards. Signals are triggered measurement channels on one of the NI PXIe-5105, the other two scope cards should synchronized to the trigger signal.
I have two problems:
1) Unable to route the trigger signal from the measurement channel of the NI PXIe-5105 to the backplane.
2) Unable to program the sample rate of NI PXIe-5160 to match the sample rate of NI PXIe-5105.
My PXI-1042 chassis will not power on. It was fine a couple of years ago I am
told. It appears that the power supply has gone bad. The p/s fan does not even
come on. Is it possible to purchase a replacement shuttle, and if so, where? If not, does anyone have a suggestion, other than buying a brand new chassis? The task I will be performing is so simple that I can do what I need to do with a Raspberry Pi, but that is not acceptable in this environment.

Is possible to take a digital input captured by a PXI module, such as a PXI-6509, and export it to one of the backplane PXI_TrigN lines?
My NI Max is not working. It hangs when I click on devices and interfaces and indicates "Searching..".
This system has not changed at all and has been running fine for over a year. I also have an identical system that is running just fine.
I've tried Resetting the configuration data, repair installation on ni max, repair installation on ni-daq, repair installation on ni services, reinstalling drivers. When I imported my saved ni max configuration, I initially got the error shown in the attached file. I went to the ni website and entered the code and got the message "Error, you are not authorized to view this document"
I can run the instruments from LabVIEW and TestStand and access soft panels from LabVIEW, it's just running ni max that is the problem.

I want to stream data using peer to peer technology from one FlexRIO FPGA card to another. But these cards are inserted in two separate chassis, each with its own embedded controller. Is there a way to do that or is there any other alternative solution to stream high rate data from one chassis FPGA card to another chassis FPGA card?

I would like to synchronize two PXI 6251 on a PXI 1000 chassis to acquire 32 analog inputs simultaneously.
I am using python on windows for the interface (nidaqmx library).
As I saw, we need to connect the RTSI but I do not see the RTSI port on the PXI 6251 card.
Do I need to connect externally analog/digital inputs/outputs?
How should I configure the connection?

We are using PXIE-1065 chassis and NI-PXIE 5451 AWG generator for our test bench.
In that we are facing 5451 card detection issue once in a hour. If i see in NI MAX it is not showing also LED is turned off.
If i restarted the chassis it is Working fine.
Please suggest me a solution to solve this issue.
